Visitors from Paris

This year once again the Deutsches Historisches Institut Paris conducted an excursion to Munich under the motto „Munich pour les Médiévistes“ (Munich for medieval scholars), offering French and German doctoral students in-depth insights into the work at Medieval history research institutions in Germany.


Organised and led by Dr Amélie Sagasser, the excursion visited the Bayerische Hauptstaatsarchiv, the Historisches Kolleg, the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften, the Historisches Seminar at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte and, last but not least, the Monumenta Germaniae Historica.
